About the Role
TESIM Electric is hiring a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Craft Recruiter to build and mobilize our field workforce. The data-center pipeline in Texas is enormous, and the constraint on winning more work isn't estimating — it's fielding the crews. This is that seat. You'll pipeline, screen, hire, and onboard Journeymen, Apprentices, and craft support at the pace the work requires.
What You'll Own
- Sourcing pipelines: apprenticeship programs, trade schools, industry referrals, LinkedIn, jobsite recruiting.
- Screening calls and jobsite interviews for craft candidates.
- Coordinating with foremen and superintendents on hiring needs and quality feedback.
- Onboarding logistics with HR: I-9s, E-Verify, safety training, tools, PPE.
- Retention: exit interviews, referrals, and continuous improvement of the craft experience.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English AND Spanish (written and verbal). Bilingual is non-negotiable — most of our workforce is Spanish-speaking.
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in construction, trades, or field-services labor.
- Comfort with high-volume pipelines and ATS/HRIS systems.
- Reliable transportation for jobsite recruiting.
Preferred Experience
- Prior craft recruiting for electrical, mechanical, or general construction subs.
- Experience with union and non-union sourcing.
- Existing network among Texas apprenticeship programs and trade schools.
Compensation
$32–$52/hr DOE. Health, dental, vision. Paid holidays. Referral bonuses on the hires you place.
